EU REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

1998/2015  KC3 EU AVIATION SECURITY VALIDATION

300/2008 ENTITY SECURITY PROGRAMME
Regulation (EC) No 300/2008 of the European parliament and of the council on common rules in the field of civil aviation security states that every entity providing services at EU airports shall draw up, apply and maintain an entity security programme.

2 STEP PROCESS FOR KC3 VALIDATION

Step 1: Pre-Validation
1st step of validation process is pre-validation assessment.
1st step must be conclusive before the EU aviation security validator can proceed to step 2.

Step 2: On-site validation.
The effectiveness and the efficacy of the Regulated Agents' security processes will be checked on-site by EU Aviation Security Validator.
If site survey is conclusive, EU Aviation Security Validator shall give to the entity the validation report stating the entity is designated KC3.

PRE-VALIDATION

ACC3.org offers Known Consignors pre-validation services before on-site validation, also experienced on-site auditors are available for on-site pre-validation.

Why pre-validation?

Pre-validation is a convenient and economical way to establish the scope of the validation. It helps to understand interpretation of the regulations and requirement, and gathers all the information needed for a smooth, swift and successful validation process..

You can order our KC3 pre-validation check-list to check your readiness and compliance for site-survey.
